Privacy policy
The short version
PubSaver converts your Publisher files on your own computer. Your files, their contents and their names are never uploaded to us or anyone else. The app has no ads, no analytics and no account.
What stays on your computer
- The .pub files you choose, and the PDF and Word files PubSaver makes from them.
- The list of converted files and the page checks, saved in the app's folder so you can come back to them.
- A short engine log (which file was converted and whether it worked), used only if you send it to us for help.
- Your settings, such as the output folder.
None of this leaves your computer. Uninstalling PubSaver removes the app's own folder; the PDF and Word files you made stay where you saved them.
Licence check
When you enter a licence key, and now and then afterwards to confirm it is still valid, PubSaver sends the licence key and your computer's name to Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC), which sells PubSaver licences for us. The computer's name lets you see and free your seats. Nothing about your files is sent. Lemon Squeezy's handling of this data is described at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
Buying a licence
The checkout opens Lemon Squeezy's own page inside the app or in your browser. You type your payment details into Lemon Squeezy, not into PubSaver; we never see your card. Lemon Squeezy sends us your name, email address and order details so we can support your purchase. We use them only for that.
This website
pubsaver.pages.dev is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs. The demo video only loads from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) when you press play; YouTube may then set cookies under its own policy.
Children
PubSaver is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
Your choices
- Use PubSaver without a licence key: then it sends nothing at all.
- Free a seat (Licence > Free this seat) to remove this computer from your key.
- Ask us to delete your purchase details by email, subject to tax record rules.
Changes and contact
